It has a detached sort of curiosity about the mortals that tread into its territory. This Orophim is a peaceful creature that uses its deadly stakes to kill only when outright attacked despite its attempts to flee. It is occasionally compelled to try and aid those who come into its forest when they are faced with immediate danger, but it does not enjoy their reactions to it, so it prefers to do so while they are unaware of its presence. It watches hikers and campers from the tops of dead trees. The rattling beads that float around it are said to make people dizzy and fall unconscious. People subjected to this generally wake up outside of the forest thereafter, with no clear understanding why.
